Additional Relevant Details Merck and Sanofi Pasteur have agreed to end a joint venture Sanofi Pasteur between the two that began in 1994.  Created to develop and commercialize in Europe vaccines originating from both companies’ pipelines, the two companies have both agreed to end the venture to manage their product portfolios independently.
